Educational Goals

• Currently, education is in a period of transition, and the world is experiencing a great crisis. This crisis has its urgency in that, although modern education is being dismantled with the spread of awareness of the limitations of modern education based on a modern worldview, a new educational paradigm that can replace it has yet to emerge. Currently, many educators are focusing their efforts on the search for a new paradigm of education and establishment of a new educational system on it, and they are paying attention to the traditional wisdom of education. In response to these requests of the times, the purpose of the Education major is to seek new directions for Korean education in the transitional period of civilization based on a comprehensive understanding of the problems of modern education and an in-depth analysis of the modern meaning of traditional educational ideology, and to nurture experts who can contribute to the globalization of Korean education.
