International students holding a student(D-2) visa whose period of stay is about to expire but wish to continue studying at the Graduate School of Korean Studies must obtain an extension of stay before their period of stay expires (applications are acceptable four months prior to the expiration date). Regarding this, we provide the following guidance on how to apply for an extension of stay through the online application service on the HiKorea website (hikorea.go.kr).
