- Yes, those in the following majors can apply to the Doctoral program, regardless of the master’s major: Philosophy, Anthropology & Folklore, Religious Studies, Cultural Informatics & Human Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Education. - No, the following majors can only be applied to those pursuing a major with a Master’s degree recognized as the same as a Doctoral course major: Korean History, Diplomatics & Bibliography, Korean Linguistics & Korean Literature, Musicology, Art History
- If your parents also have foreign nationality, you can apply. - If your parents have Korean nationality, you can apply only if you have completed all elementary, middle, high school, and university education abroad and submit certified proof (i.e. diploma). In other words, if you have completed elementary school education in Korea, you cannot apply for a special admission but can still apply for general admission.
