- Complete the online application (gradaks.recruiter.co.kr) and upload required documents, such as graduation certificates and transcripts. Send a letter of recommendation and pay the application fee of 50,000 won. - Conduct a Korean language proficiency phone interview (if TOPIK results are not submitted), document review, and interview to determine successful applicants. - For successful applicants, submit original documents such as Apostille-confirmed graduation certificates and transcripts, and a bank statement showing a balance of 9,500,000 won (one year’s living expenses) or more by mail. - Obtain a document such as a standard admission permit from the graduate school and apply for a visa to study abroad (D-2) at the Korean Embassy.
The special admissions are held twice a year. Applications for the spring admissions (admission in March) are accepted in September of the previous year, and the fall admissions (admissions in September) are accepted in March of the current year.
Approximately 30 students are selected every semester, and the admission acceptance ratio is 3.5:1.
No, it is not possible to apply for both majors at the same time. You must select one major in which you wish to apply.
Yes, we will conduct a video interview for those who passed the document screening
Yes, you must submit it. According to the guidelines of the Ministry of Justice, universities are obliged to select international students who are academically and economically capable to do so.

Unfortunately, the Graduate School of Korean Studies does not operate a separate Korean language program. Our Korean language courses are only available to enrolled Master’s and Doctoral degree students.
Although not operated by the Graduate School of Korean Studies, the Center for International Affairs of the Academy of Korean Studies offers < Korean Culture Course > every summer for international undergraduate students.
